Chapter 2 Site

This chapter support the choice of site for the study.

2.1 Paracou

Plus:

• 4 LiDAR campaigns from 2004 to 2015 (Fig. ??)
• Proximity, (for phenology to collect flowers and fruits)

Cons:

• Smaller trees
• Non destructive sampling
• Avoid trunk

2.2 Régina

Plus:

• 1 LiDAR in 2016 (ONF, see Fig. 2.1
• Possibility of clearing for drone
• Destructive sampling for tree rings
• Taller trees (older? and more cell divisions)

Cons:

• Distance for phenology
